Mister keeps trying to convince me I need a new bike (btw, ^ this is not my bike). But here's the thing - I love my current bike. It's a light blue Schwinn beach cruiser from the 80's, wire basket and all. Sure it's kinda rusty and I can't ride it long distances, but I love that it's old and rickety and has a history. Mister will show me new beach cruisers hoping one will catch my eye, but my little vintage Schwinn occupies my heart.
Here's me & my lovely ol' bike last summer (photo taken by Mister):

I like your vintage bike. In a world full of new, shinny things, items with history are so rare.
Sadly, our bikes were stolen late last summer (I'm still angry at you Culver City for that!) and have yet to find a replacement.
thanks for stopping by my blog! stick with the vintage...looks nice!!
Oh, I love it! I wish I lived in an area where I could ride a vintage bike around casually, relax, and enjoy the weather. In another life I'll buy a beach house in a cute, established beach town.
randy's trying to get me on a mountain bike...this terrifies me!
